Pay Range : $17.00 to $18.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Join our team as a Student Athlete Dining Attendant and play an important role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for UW-Madison student athletes. This position supports dining operations at both Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center Arena , working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where quality service, food safety, and attention to detail are essential.

We offer a variety of shifts to fit different schedules, with opportunities available weekdays and weekends . Candidates must be available to work at least two weekdays and be willing to work weekends, as well as during winter break, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport hot and cold food boxes and supplies to ensure efficient meal service.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, keeping serving lines fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
• Ensure all hot and cold food items are maintained at proper and safe temperatures.
• Remove leftover food following meal service and properly dispose of waste.
• Clean and sanitize food service areas before, during, and after meal periods.
• Prepare service areas and equipment for upcoming meal periods.
• Restock paper products, dry goods, condiments, and other supplies as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an organized, professional, and welcoming dining environment.
• Support team operations and complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Ability to work flexible AM and PM shifts as business needs require.
• Must be available to work during the summer and fall seasons.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Previous food service, hospitality, catering, or related experience is preferred.
