About the Role:
As a Regional Maintenance Manager you will transform workplace environments across multiple sites by leading regional maintenance operations and developing the next generation of maintenance this critical role youll oversee Maintenance Managers and their teams across multiple sites within your region develop strategic maintenance programs and drive operational excellence across your regional footprint. You will blend strategic planning financial management and leadership development while navigating between managing preventative maintenance programs coordinating with operations teams across multiple locations and responding to emergencies that require quick decisive action. Youll balance proactive planning with real-time problem resolution while fostering a culture of safety innovation and continuous improvement across your entire regional organization.

Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
You will provide leadership and mentorship to Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers across your region fostering professional growth performance excellence and developing bar-raising talent across your regional maintenance organization
You will develop and maintain comprehensive preventative maintenance programs manage regional budgets and capital spending plans and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maximizing equipment uptime and operational efficiency across all sites
You will ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures across all operational sites while partnering with site leadership to implement audit and enforce maintenance execution and safe work practices throughout your region
You will manage vendor relationships coordinate external contractors provide technical leadership on equipment end-of-life decisions using ROI analysis and leverage Amazons network size to maximize economies of scale across your regional network
You will travel domestically up to 80% of the time to provide frequent on-site monitoring auditing and enforcement of maintenance execution across your region support network-level initiatives and provide hands-on guidance to ensure consistent operational excellence at all locations

- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Engineering Technology Reliability Engineering or 2 years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience
- Work flexible schedules/shifts/areas including weekends nights and/or holidays
- 8 years of direct leadership/supervisory experience
- 6 years of industrial maintenance experience
- 6 years of leading multiple layer organizations experience
- 6 years of senior leadership development and talent management experience
- 6 years of managing department spend and labor budgets performing root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing continuous improvement (CI) experience
- 6 years of managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

- Masters degree or Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience leading network level/multi-site maintenance organizations
- Professional Engineering registration
- Experience working with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integrators
- Experience maintaining material handling equipment and integrated systems
- Experience in project management
- Experience with statistical analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
