Shields Health Solutions is redefining patient care through specialty pharmacy. Were hiring a Pharmacy Refill Technician to support the pharmacy team by ensuring accurate timely filling and delivery of specialty medications. This role includes assisting patients through the refill process handling both outbound and inbound calls and helping maintain efficient pharmacy operations.

Monday - Friday Hybrid schedule (potential to be fully remote) must reside in the Atlanta area and have an active Georgia pharmacy technician license.

What Youll Do:

• Provide compassionate knowledgeable assistance to patients providers and staff.
• Make outbound refill calls and process requests promptly.
• Answer and triage incoming pharmacy calls.
• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists or clinicians.
• Coordinate medication refills and complete accurate data entry.
• Assist with claim adjudication and troubleshoot rejected claims.

What You Need:

• State-registered (Arizona) Pharmacy Technician ; CPhT required
• 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician; High School Diploma or GED
• Strong communication organization and tech skills
• Empathy integrity and a team-first mindset

Solid computer skills are required including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook Teams Word Excel and PowerPoint) for communication documentation and data management as well as navigating the internet and web-based platforms.
