Volt is immediately hiring for Assembler in Fresno CA.

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our manufacturing team in Fresno this role you will produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies using hand tools and production equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints and assembly instructions inspect products for quality and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components parts and subassemblies according to specifications.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions diagrams schematics and blueprints.
• Position and align components manually or with hoists as required.
• Use hand tools and production equipment to assemble and repair products.
• Inspect parts and materials to ensure quality standards are met.
• Test completed products and identify defects.
• Maintain inventory of parts materials and tools used during assembly.
• Follow all company policies procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain tools and equipment used in the assembly process.
• Keep workstations clean organized and well maintained.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Identify defective materials or products and follow established procedures for handling them.
• Follow all company and industry safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the assembly process.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous assembly manufacturing production or mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good visual acuity including depth perception peripheral vision and color differentiation.

Shift Information

• 1st Shift Available

This is a full-time/Temp-to-Hire opportunity.

Pay Rate: $18.00-$22.00/hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
