Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler 1

You will help the production team assemble small mechanical and electromechanical components to meet quality and schedule targets. Your work supports manufacturing output and downstream stakeholders on a MTh 5:00am3:30pm 1st-shift onsite schedule. You will follow detailed instructions and safety procedures to deliver consistent high-quality assemblies.

Heres How Youll Make an Impact on the Team

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts/components following work instructions and procedures
• Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematic drawings to confirm operation sequence
• Position very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
• Adjust bend align and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
• Bond or seal parts/assemblies with epoxy and perform in-process testing
• Follow and demonstrate safety policies and procedures
• Maintain regular consistent and punctual attendance and be available for variable schedules or additional hours as needed

Heres What Youll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• 6 months to 1 year of relevant assembly or mechanical experience
• Secondary Certificate / High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
• Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
• Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules operating/manufacturing instructions policies and procedures
• Basic mathematics and problem-solving skills using established procedures
• Effective oral written and interpersonal communication skills

$16.00 - $20.00/hour
